WELCOME TO RICHARD HUISH COLLEGE
Based in Taunton, Somerset, Huish is proud to offer a unique boarding experience for 16–19-year-olds. It is one of only a few state sixth form colleges in England to offer accommodation options, including full-time and flexi-boarding.
It is a place where you can expand your horizons and develop among like-minded people.
Oak House offers you a taste of independent living in preparation for university life and beyond. All 53 bedrooms at Oak House are en-suite.
Our specialist tutoring system is designed to provide you with expert guidance around progression and employability, study skills, monitoring and reflection, and health and wellbeing. All students will have the opportunity to become involved in the Huish Enrichment programme, where students value the skills, knowledge and most importantly, the fun that enrichment provides.
Oak House is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and your pastoral care is very important to us. We have two live-in House Parents and several part-time House Parents.
