MESSAGE FROM THE PREPARATORY SCHOOL HEADMASTER

Posted: 13th July 2021

Our Prize Day was a wonderful occasion and I was delighted to welcome our guests into School alongside our Year 6 parents to celebrate our incredible pupils. Equally, the Pre-Prep opening was a wonderful affair and I would like to thank the fabulous Amanda Owen for her attendance at both of this morning’s events.

Congratulations to our Year 1 children who enjoyed a wonderful private beach party, as promised. The belated Pre-Prep Sports’ Day was a lovely occasion for all involved and I know there was a sense of palpable relief that the weather held for us on our final attempt to hold it!

The children in Pre-Prep enjoyed a super day out at the Wild Boar Park in Preston and all Prep years have had exciting adventures at Stoller YMCA throughout the week. The enjoyment of challenging themselves, working as a team, and spending time out of School on an actual trip, was a pleasure to behold.

It is fair to say that this has been an interesting year but one where our whole community has risen to the challenge as one. We are all part of a family who has been through a testing time together. I certainly won’t forget this year and I know the children will not either – I just hope it is all the reasons above that serve their memories well.

Have a well-deserved rest and see you all in September!
