Set within 150 acres of Kentish countryside near Dover, the school enjoys strong academic success. Well over half of all A Level grades are A*–B, while BTEC results average Distinction*. 95% of students’ progress to university, with 73% securing their aspirational first choice, and 40% gaining places at Oxbridge or Russell Group universities. Ranked in the top 5% of schools nationally, students make outstanding progress at GCSE, achieving results over two-thirds of a grade higher than the national average.
As well as academic achievements, students enjoy an active lifestyle with sport, music, drama, and access to more than 60 clubs and activities per week, all included within the boarding fee. The School has one of the largest Combined Cadet Forces in the country and is a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award centre.
